Parish Tidy - Saturday 24 April

The Parish Council is holding a tidy of the parish - to include litter and green areas

Come along and spend an hour or two to help tiday our village - tasks include cutting back the grass strips where they have grown over the footpath, picking up litter, weeding along the house frontages in Main Street, planting Spring bulbs in the verges, sealing a few gaps in the village phone box/defibrillator hub.

We will meet at 10.30 outside the Old Lion - Jaqui Matthews is kindly providing coffee and teas. We will then share out the tasks to ensure we don't all do the dame thing!

Sticks for picking up litter, high vis vests, bags and bulbs will be provide - please bring your own gloves or garden tools.

If you cannot make the 24th but want to help then please email the clerk (clerk.hmpc@gmail.com) and we can agree an area for you to tackle over the next week or so.

COVID SAFETY GUIDANCE ON MIXING OF HOUSEHOLDS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE MAINTAINED - but unless you want to wear them you don't need masks as we will be outside.
