Election of Parish Councillors for
HARBOROUGH MAGNA
1. An election is to be held for Five parish councillors for the above parish
2. Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, Rugby Borough Council, Town Hall, Evreux Way, Rugby, Warwickshire, CV21 2RR on any day after the date of this notice, on Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm (excluding bank holidays) but no later than 4pm on Friday, 5th April 2024.
3. Nomination papers may be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer, Rugby Borough Council, Town Hall, Evreux Way, Rugby, Warwickshire, CV21 2RR during the times stated above or by download from www.electoralcommission.org.uk or www.rugby.gov.uk
4. If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday, 2nd May 2024.
5. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Tuesday, 16th April 2024. Applications can be made online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
6. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Rugby Borough Council, Town Hall, Evreux Way, Rugby, Warwickshire, CV21 2RR by 5pm on Wednesday, 17th April 2024.
7. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday, 24th April 2024. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate can be made online at www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id-voter-authority-certificate
8. New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Rugby Borough Council, Town Hall, Evreux Way, Rugby, Warwickshire, CV21 2RR by 5pm on Wednesday, 24th April 2024.
9. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election on grounds of physical incapacity or for work/service reasons must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Rugby Borough Council, Town Hall, Evreux Way, Rugby, Warwickshire, CV21 2RR by 5pm on Thursday, 2nd May 2024. The physical incapacity must have occurred after 5pm on Wednesday, 24th April 2024. To apply on the grounds of work/service, the person must have become aware that they cannot go to the polling station in person after 5pm on Wednesday, 24th April 2024.
